This article reports on the application of the Metropolitan Foodshed and Self-Sufficiency Scenario (MFSS) model methodology, developed by ZALF Institute, to estimate the level of potential food self-sufficiency of the nine city regions of the FoodSHIFT 2030 project, representing different European countries: Wrocław (PL), Ostend (BE), Berlin (DE), Avignon (FR), Copenhagen (DK), Bari (IT), Brasov (RO), Athens (EL), Barcelona (ES).
